How We Give Back

We encourage a culture of giving back. Making a difference and achieving our goal comes through programs designed with a purpose to improve our communities.

FIS Foundation

The FIS Foundation provides more than one million dollars in grants to over 125 organizations throughout the United States. Grants from the foundation focus on four key areas of giving: Children’s Services, Community Development, Environment and Health and Human Services.

Employee Volunteering and Fundraising

Our employees are encouraged to give back by volunteering independently both through paid time off and on their own - averaging 24,000 volunteer hours in a year. Our colleagues also raise thousands of dollars every year for the charities they passionately support.

FIS Cares

FIS Cares is a colleague-funded giving program designed to help our employees in times of need. It provides temporary and immediate assistance through grants to be used for essential living expenses. Since the program’s inception in 2013, employees have donated over $800,000.

Disaster Aid

When disasters strike, like earthquakes, hurricanes, flooding, or a global health crisis, the company and our employees answer the call for help with monetary donations, supplies and volunteer hours.

FIS Supports

FIS Goes Pink for Breast Cancer

FIS employees around the globe recognized Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Much of this year’s focus was on early detection. Some U.S. offices had on-site mammogram units, making it easier than ever for employees to get screened. Employees also raised more than $30,000 in donations toward organizations such as Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Relay For Life.

Movember Foundation

Over the past four years, FIS has supported the Movember Foundation in its quest to change the face of men’s health by bringing attention to prostate and testicular cancer, raising mental health awareness and encouraging people to get moving through more physical activity. During the month of November, employees said “no” to shaving in an effort to spark conversation and awareness.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Over the past six years, corporate and employee support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team in Training (TNT) program resulted in more than $1.84 million in donations to the cause. “Team FIS” raised more than $100,000 in 2017 alone. The funding is linked to LLS research for pediatric and young adult cancers.

Employees packed 2,000 meal boxes and raised funds to sponsor another 186 meals for Food Angel, a local kitchen that provides food to the poor.

Employees volunteer at Soup Kitchen Montbrillant Serve the City, helping prepare and serve meals to the needy.

Georgia Employees Help Habitat for Humanity Build Home for a Family

Employees at the Atlanta and Norcross locations labored to put finishing touches on a home for an underprivileged local family.
