Introducing INNOVATEIN48 Partner Edition

On August 26, 2022 we invited APAC startups to ideate solutions around the themes of data innovation, AI in Fintech, and digital assets. The energy was high and the participants were passionate at solving current industry challenges.

2022 Final Round Winners

In 2022, six teams were selected from among the finalists for their winning concepts that were all focused on finding a solution from one of two areas of modernization and the client experience: Operational Efficiencies or Products & Features.

Operational Efficiencies

Ralph Breaks the Internet (India)
Their solution is a bot that will keep our OSS libraries updated automatically, reduce developers' manual efforts and easily integrate into existing DevOps

Products & Features

Merchant Marauders (US)
Their solution is an easy and quick solution for the payout of tips without cash. The application has a simple and easy enrollment process for employees during onboarding and allows the employee to receive a standard FIS prepaid debit card that is usable at ATM, POS or online.

Operational Efficiencies

Turing (India)
Their solution uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation to reduce the MTTR by 20%, ultimately resulting in client satisfaction.

Products & Features

Voxels (US & India)
Their solution allows teams to upgrade existing solutions in FIS with new technology to deliver faster solutions more broadly across products, resulting in a faster time to market. Their solution also helps deliver incremental value with features-as-a-service to clients through a strategy called Micro-frontends and Module Federation.

Operational Efficiencies

NBF (Serbia)
Their solution would provide security using Solana blockchain technology and Phantom wallet to log in users and will leverage crypto wallet security for our clients.

Products & Features

Team Vikings (India)
Their solution is a platform to enable communities to request funds for their sustainable projects. It also enables investors and banks to have complete traceability of their green fund usage, project status, returns and carbon offset and enables banks to tap into ‘green funds,’ which are expected to grow into the trillions by 2030.

For me, InnovateIN48 has always been an exciting competition, especially if you get to the Finals. InnovateIN48 allows you to come up with new ideas and implement them. It’s also a great way to work with different people and see what else people are working on. It’s a lot of hard work, however, so worth it. Being fortunate to have won the competition once was just the cherry on top.”
